The Beaches of Calasetta
The Island of S.Pietro
Reachable by ferry from the tourist port of Calasetta, it boasts 33 km of coastline between coves and cliffs, best appreciated through exciting boat trips.
Carloforte, the only inhabited center of the island, has been renamed “Capital of tuna” thanks to the important cultural and gastronomic event that hosts each year, on the occasion of the tuna slaughter.

The Dunes of Porto Pino
With their 30 meters of white fine sand covered with a thick juniper bush, they are considered among the highest and largest dunes in Sardinia.
Next to this oasis of beauty, there is the pond of Is Brebeis, a summer residence of numerous migratory birds, including flamingos.

Great mine of Serbariu
Having represented one of the most important energy resources of Italy, the Great Mine of Serbariu, now inactive since 1971, has now become an important museum that explains the history of coal, techniques through a path between stonework, the winch hall and the underground gallery extraction and processing.

The Antiochense Coast
A journey to discover the origins of the ancient city of S.Antioco that with its Hypogeum Village, Tophet and Solky Necropolis, affirms its clear Phoenician Punic imprint, up to the Roman era, of which we find evidence in the Catacombs and in the Basilica of S.Antioco Martire.
Among vertical walls and fascinating sea caves, it will be easy to find small pristine sandy coves like Cala Lunga and Cala Sapone, up to the east coast to admire the wider beaches of Coaquaddus and Maladroxia.
